The Empowered Portrait & Reflection Experience
Our Vision
We’ve come together as two female small business owners - a photographer and a Coach & Realtor - to create The Empowered Portrait & Reflection Experience: a community event that celebrates resilience, reflection, and the beauty of being seen, inside and out.
In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we wanted to move beyond pink ribbons and create something more personal, a space where individuals can pause, reflect, and reconnect with their own strength. Through guided reflection and professional portraits, we aim to remind each person that empowerment begins from within.
The Event!
This event is not only about capturing portraits, but about capturing courage, the kind that lives in stories of healing, hope, and perseverance.
All proceeds from The Empowered Portrait & Reflection Experience will support the Canadian Cancer Society, funding vital research, compassionate support programs, and advocacy that helps people and families affected by cancer across Canada.
Together, we can help change the picture of cancer, one empowered moment at a time.

Jyoti's Reason
In Honour of My Maamiji: A Portrait of Strength and Grace
Through the years, she was a constant source of strength, grace, and unconditional love for me. Anyone that knows me, knows how big of a role she has played in my life.
When she was diagnosed with breast cancer, she faced it with the same courage she brought to everything in life, steady, unwavering, and full of faith.
This month, I honour her legacy through an initiative close to my heart.
